German National with a Passion for APAC Since 2005
My international career began at Fresenius Kabi’s head office in Germany in 1999, where I gained a solid foundation in clinical nutrition—enteral and parenteral nutrition—from the perspectives of healthcare, science, product development, and marketing.
A new and exciting chapter in my journey began in 2005 when I moved to Hong Kong to take on a regional marketing role with Fresenius Kabi in Asia Pacific. That step opened up a whole new world—professionally and personally. I worked across cultures and markets, learning what it truly takes to grow a business in such a dynamic and diverse region.
Over the years, I built and led local and regional initiatives—launching products, partnering with opinion leaders, and creating educational programs for healthcare professionals. Time spent in hospitals across the region—meeting doctors, dietitians, patients, and caregivers—gave me direct insights and a solid foundation to understand what works, and what does not.
Working closely with diverse teams across countries broadened my understanding of different ways of working, deepened my appreciation of various cultures, and inspired a lasting passion for Asian cuisine.
From Consumer Brands to Industry Partnerships Across Asia & ANZ
I have called Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, and now Sydney home—spending nearly two decades living and working across Asia and ANZ.
My focus has always been on consumer and patient health through elevated nutritional solutions.
At Fresenius Kabi, this was from a business-to-consumer perspective. Later, with dsm-firmenich, I moved into the business-to-business space, taking on the role of Segment Lead for Medical Nutrition in Asia Pacific for over five years.
In this role, I built and grew the Medical Nutrition Segment across the region, leading and working with a fantastic team of account managers, formulators, application specialists, regulatory experts, and scientists. Together, we partnered with global, regional, and local companies to drive innovation, expand product portfolios, and enter new markets.
