My international career began at Fresenius Kabi's head office in Germany in 1999, which was an excellent start.
The real excitement, however, began in 2005 when I was offered a position by Fresenius Kabi in Hong Kong to lead regional marketing for Asia Pacific. In this role, I engaged with diverse cultures and market dynamics, developing my expertise in growth initiatives and business development for the region.
Spending time in hospitals and connecting with doctors, dietitians, and consumers gave me a hands-on understanding of healthcare practices, product needs, and challenges across diverse APAC markets.
In senior marketing roles, I led regional and local initiatives—launching new products, building opinion leader networks, and organizing educational programs for healthcare professionals. Insights from the field shaped my strategies and motivated my teams to achieve lasting and impactful results.
My time in Asia also gave me a deep appreciation for Asian cultures and cuisines, which I continue to enjoy today.

Having lived in the Asia and ANZ regions for nearly two decades (Hong Kong, Malaysia, and now Sydney), I spent over 15 years in the business-to-consumer (B2C) sector before transitioning into business-to-business (B2B) with dsm-firmenich.
As Segment Lead for Medical Nutrition in Asia Pacific for over five years, I successfully built and led the medical nutrition segment across the region, driving profitable growth.
